Sake restaurant at the rocks

My first time at Sake restaurant was a splendid experience. I would most definitely come back for a visit to try more items on the menu.

Transportation: we went by car and it was so easy to find parking on the streets right Infront of the restaurant!

Price: average of $200 for two people

Customer service: 9/10

Dress code: Smart casual

Reservation: Yes (recommended)

Now to the exciting part. WHAT TO ORDER?!

My boyfriend and I both ordered cocktails:
If you want something sweet: 'Miss Wednesday' is a good choice. (quite strong but sweet and nice!)
if you want something sour: 'Pink Blossom' (this one is not that strong in my opinion)

Our 1st two dishes that came were Kingfish Jalapeno($23) and the Sashimi Appetiser ($20)
Kingfish Jalapeno (right dish):
This dish was great! the flavour of the sauce is not so strong and the fish was sliced wonderfully with thin slices of jalapeƱos. However it did not have a wow factor on me, but i still really enjoyed it.
Recommended? Yes.

Sashimi Appetiser (left dish):
This dish was obviously very fresh however was quite normal in my opinion, i would recommend ordering something else instead of this! :)
Recommended? No.

Third dish: Miso cream scallops ($34)
This dish was very nice, the scallops were cooked perfectly and the sauce went very well with the dish. I wouldn't recommend this for people who are not a fan of creamy food as the flavour may be too intense and 'sickening.' For, me and boyfriend we really enjoyed it.
Recommended? Partial.

4th Dish: Brined Pork Belly ($12)
This was delicious! the poll was cooked so well, the meat was very soft and almost melted in your mouth. Cons to this dish is that the flavour wasn't strong enough. For those who have tried the Pork skewers at SOKYO would know that SOKYO's one are much better because it had more flavour.
Recommended? Partial.

5th Dish: Scamp Miso($16)

THIS DISH WAS AMAZING. I highly recommend this dish!!  It was sooo perfect.
This dish consisted of small pieces of Miso cod fish which legitimately melted as soon as you put it into your mouth. It was served in small crunchy chip-like basket, which went so well together! This was actually one of my favourite dishes.
Recommended? DEFINITELY.

Later on we were also recommended the Lamb Chops which i initially wanted to try but was too full. so we moved onto desserts (my favourite part)

Desserts: Dragon Egg( $20) and the other Dessert isn't on the menu anymore :(

The Dragon Egg was delishhh it is always a must try at Sake, its their main dessert! The egg was poured over with liquid nitrogen and afterwards you got to crack it. Inside the egg consisted of a chocolate mousse and bits and pieces of crunchy chocolate powder that looks exactly like Milo tbh HAHAH it even had the same texture as Milo. The intense chocolate taste was evened out with a hit of sourness (passionfruit and lime). I really enjoyed this dessert!
Recommended? Yesss.

Our other dessert which i can't find on the menu (forgot what it was called) was coconut Ice-cream shaped in a marshmallow form, these ice cream pieces were partnered with crunchy ginger pieces,  grapefruit, dried coconut pieces and a delicious sweet sauce to top it off. All of these worked so well with each other! it was an amazing dish filled with such interesting flavours.

I was very satisfied with this dessert aswell !
